Elliot Pobjoy

Elliot Pobjoy is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Carleton University, an Honours Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies and History from York University, and a Master of Laws in International Business Law from Central European University.

With an extensive career in various organizations, Elliot has served in key roles such as Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel at War Child Canada, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Health in the Ontario Government, and in legal positions at Goodmans LLP. Additionally, he has held significant positions in the Ontario Government, including Chief of Staff, Executive Director, and Senior Policy Advisor in the areas of children and youth services, citizenship and immigration.

Elliot's experience extends to roles in policy analysis, coordination, and management, evident from his past positions at organizations like Public Safety Canada, Global Affairs Canada, War Child Canada, and International: Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy. He has also been involved in academic institutions, having worked as a Policy Assistant at York University and coordinated youth symposiums at the Ontario Council for International Cooperation.

Furthermore, Elliot has demonstrated a commitment to global issues and human rights through his work as a National Policy Intern at Amnesty International and as an Immigration Officer at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
