Ellie Young is the founder of Common Action, an innovation network that promotes climate and sustainability action through community and knowledge graph technology.

Common Action strives to develop public knowledge graphs to support decentralized reporting on environmental, social, and economic sustainability, fostering collaboration between various sectors like companies, non-profits, academics, entrepreneurs, and government entities.

Previously, Ellie served as the Head of Community and Director of Conference Operations at The Knowledge Graph Conference, where she initiated projects like the KGC public Slack and organized events such as the KGC Book Club series and Knowledge Espresso video podcast.

She has a strong background in sustainability, focusing on renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and driving change through growth, community involvement, narrative building, and actionable strategies.

Ellie Young graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability from Arizona State University.
