Ellen Nio is a seasoned professional with a strong background in investment, product development, and business operations.

Having led Patamar Capital's Investing in Women program in Indonesia, Ellen is a vocal advocate for gender-lens analysis in investing to empower women and women-owned businesses through impactful investments.

Her responsibilities at Patamar Capital included deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution across Southeast Asia, as well as providing support to portfolio companies.

Ellen also oversaw business accelerator programs for women entrepreneurs in agriculture, food security, and sustainable fashion.

Prior to her role at Patamar, Ellen worked with the Jakarta Governor on Smart City and transportation initiatives, and held leadership positions in product development at a prominent digital publishing startup in Jakarta.

Ellen's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Kyungsung University and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Universitas Pelita Harapan.

Throughout her career, Ellen has held key roles at organizations such as Tokopedia, where she served as Head of Sales, Operations, and Product; Chief of Staff at Jakarta Smart City; and VP of Product at Gramedia Digital Nusantara.
