Ellen Merchant

Ellen Merchant is a London-based decorative artist, designer, and printmaker with a passion for antique textiles and botanical forms.

She is known for creating unique artworks inspired by the British Arts and Crafts movement, focusing on pattern design, impactful color schemes, and the integration of traditional craft skills into contemporary designs.

Ellen holds a First Class Honours degree in BA Illustration from Camberwell College of Art, a Master's degree in Textiles (Print) from Royal College of Art, and a foundation degree in Art and Design from Central Saint Martins.

She also pursued studies at St Mary's Shaftesbury School.

Professionally, Ellen is the Founder and Creative Director of Ellen Merchant Ltd, and has previously co-founded and served as the Creative Director at Peacock & Pigeon.

She has experience as a Freelance Print Designer under her name and has worked as a Print Designer at Ethnic by Outfitters.
