Ellen DaSilva is the visionary founder and CEO of Summer Health, a pediatric telehealth startup that offers message-based services to connect parents with pediatricians within 15 minutes.1245 She was previously the Head of Business Development at hims&hers and an active angel investor as a Sequoia Scout.13

DaSilva obtained her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a Partner at Rough Draft Ventures, the pre-seed fund of General Catalyst.13 Prior to business school, she managed a unit of the Business Operations team at Twitter and previously worked at Barclays Capital.13

As a parent of three children, DaSilva experienced the frustration of limited options for timely medical advice or care.4 This inspired her to launch Summer Health in July 2022 with co-founder Matthew Woo.45 The startup recently raised $11.65 million in Series A funding to build out its technology platform.4
