Ellen Anthoni is a trend researcher, youth expert, future fantasizer, and art director passionate about building better futures based on insights from the next generation.
She holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Universiteit Antwerpen, studied Graphic Design at Stedelijke Academie Berchem, Fashion Design at Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, Fashion and Styling at Sint-Maria Institute, and Shoe Design at Stedelijke Academie Sint-Niklaas.
Currently, she serves as a Future Narrator and Art Director at BrusselAVenir, focusing on creating future narratives that empower 'Brusseleirs' to shape a resilient city for all.
Ellen has a diverse background having previously worked as a PhD Researcher at KU Leuven, Freelance Trendwatcher, Trend Researcher, and Future Narrator at various organizations including Civic Innovation Network (CIN). She has also been involved in art direction, styling, mobilization, and communication in different projects.
Her expertise lies in understanding youth trends, engaging youngsters, sustainability consulting, and art direction, with a keen interest in youth culture, trends, and the future.
