Elko Langhout is a versatile and eager GIS specialist with a true passion for geo-information and earth sciences. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Earth & Environment (Cum laude) at Amsterdam University College and pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the same field at Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum. Langhout began his professional career as a Geo-information Specialist at Royal HaskoningDHV and has since worked as a Geo-information Advisor at Sweco Nederland and as a Specialist Informatieverziening GIS and Coördinerend GIS-Specialist at Provincie Utrecht. From his extensive background, he has gained vast experience in the world of GIS, with a particular expertise in geo-spatial data analysis and interpretation, which he applies to support public policy-making and community safety with a focus on environmental planning and management.
