•	Set up and closed-down offices in Pakistan, Myanmar (Burma), and Malaysia inclusive of following tax and labor laws, representing US interests, dealing with sanctions, establishing and maintaining bank accounts and cash flow, and hiring 100+ staff, often in fluid operational zones.

Director, Transition and Stabilization, Center for Secure and Stable States (CS3)

Managed contractual, financial, and technical support for the USAID/OTI Afghanistan Community Cohesion Initiative (CCI), the USAID/OTI Pakistan Transition Initiative, and the USAID/Training for Pakistan program. Primary point of contact for program issues/policies/procedures, and technical objectives. Served as Acting Director of Political Transitions Practice Area, $318M conflict and transition portfolio (Honduras, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.).

Notable Achievements:
•	Served with senior management team to achieve targets, build and train team integrating 200+ staff in over 19 field offices and maintained oversight of security of physical assets and staff, as well as information through effective remote management in the Acting Chief of Party role. Managed security sub-contractor with Senior Security Manager.
•	Responsible for CPFF and IDIQ Task Order activities and management of Creative HO staff within the Practice Area.  
•	Worked on budget forecast planning for the Fiscal Year Creative Business Plan and coordinated new business initiatives, Task Orders, IDIQs within the practice area in coordination with the Director of New Business for CIT.

Senior Associate/Project Director, Acting Chief of Party - Afghanistan

Served with senior management team to achieve targets of USAID OTI/CCI, a $161M contract to improve stability in areas vulnerable to insurgent exploitation through strong local, community, and government partnerships.

Notable Achievements:
• Oversaw the technical start up, grants training, process and procedure and technical delivery in the East and South.

Deputy Chief of Party - Program

Served with senior management team to achieve targets of $36M USAID Community Based Stabilization Grants (CBSG) program, to assist communities after military operations. Oversaw project technical management, quality control and compliance and supervised senior-level national and international staff, as well as indirectly supervised up to 35 staff. 

Notable Achievements:
•	Provided ongoing technical strategy and guidance for day-to-day project lifecycle: contract implementation, deliverable completion, grant development, procurement, M&E and client interface and coordination across 14 provinces.

Deputy Chief of Party – Head of Technical Program

Planned, monitored, and coordinated the UN Governance work plan. Liaised and supported government authorities such as the Governor, district Governors, and Civil Service Commission. Promoted governance initiatives and ongoing identification of gaps in capacity building via regular travel across 27 districts in the Province.

Notable Achievements:
• Successfully collaborated with ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) counterparts; cultivated positive relationships between civilian and military counterparts.
• Effectively maintained situational awareness and conveyed analysis to key civilian-military stakeholders. Responsible for providing political briefs to all incoming VIPs to the PRT, in conjunction with the J2 focused on local formal and informal leadership as it related to the rise of conflict, insurgency and instability in the Province. Lead discussions with donor civilian leadership, ISAF, UN agency, NGO community and subnational government representatives on a monthly basis, to address political, social and economic shifts and how they could be targeted in order to counter negative effects.

UNAMA- Provincial Governance and Public Administration Officer

Managed $20M supply chain partnership and logistics in Sudan, interfacing with major relief organizations and government (UNICEF, CARE, and HAC). Represented field staff from 5 offices. Collaborated on the analysis of disaster and political situations to assess threats and ensure supply disbursement and prepositioning. 
Notable Achievements:
•	Successfully served 2.5M conflict and disaster-affected people through the program.
•	Analyzed, tracked and was responsible for budget and procurement pipeline status, potential pipeline breaks, procurement execution and funding with pipeline oversight trips to Darfur and South Sudan.
•	Tested a pilot project in South Sudan to scale up knowledge by leveraging best practices and economies of scale.

Pipeline Manager

•	Coordinated the pre/post and Election Day observation in the department of the Guajira, visiting 8 out of 15 municipalities.
•	Led, represented and liaised in pre and post electoral meetings with key players in the region: delegates from the Military, National Police, National Observation Mission, Presidency, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Registraduría and Fiscalía, candidates and political party presidents.
•	Analyzed security risk in area where two armed forces are present while fielding denunciations of fraud pre, during and post Election Day.

International Observer for Regional/Municipal Elections- Election Observation Mission

•	Monitored and evaluated the implementation and impact of the EDL Project in rural municipalities throughout the country pre, during and post Presidential elections.

AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION/CENTRAL EUROPEAN AND EURASIAN LAW INITIATIVE

Monitoring and Evaluation Team Leader - Election Day Lawyer Project (EDL) – Presidential Elections

•	Edited 4 UNDP toolkits on parliaments and poverty in Russian and Spanish for printing and distribution (MS Publisher).
•	Researched and analyzed: parliamentary systems, political, social and economic movements in NDI specific countries and regions for all 56-field offices.
