Elizabeth Soper, known as Liz, is a dedicated professional with a focus on environment-based education and sustainability, particularly within K-12 schools and local communities. Her work with the National Wildlife Federation centers around Green STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Energy/Climate Change, Sustainable School Grounds, and School Gardening. Liz has strong global connections through her involvement with Eco-Schools and currently serves as the National Operator for the Learning about Forests Global program. She emphasizes place-based education and the importance of community and individual stewardship for a healthy world. With a background in fundraising, public speaking, and program development, Liz is passionate about mindfulness training, pursuing an integrative yoga therapy certification, and advocating for animal rescue and compassion towards all animals.
