Elizabeth Rochin

Elizabeth Rochin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Administration with a focus on Population Health from East Carolina University. She also completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Administration at the same institution. Earlier in her academic journey, Rochin earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Virginia and a Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Crouse Hospital School of Nursing.

With over 30 years of experience, Elizabeth Rochin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Perinatal Information Center (NPIC). NPIC is a 501(c)3 organization specializing in perinatal and neonatal data analytics and health services research. Rochin's dedication lies in collaborating with hospitals, patient safety organizations, insurers, and researchers to gather and analyze data that fosters improved outcomes and enhances the well-being of women and newborns across communities. The organization functions with a commitment to boosting member hospital quality outcomes, all fueled by data and united by a common purpose.

In addition to her current role at NPIC, Elizabeth Rochin has held various significant positions throughout her career. She previously served as the Vice President of Nursing Services at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and as the Vice President of Women's and Children's Services at Reston Hospital. Rochin also contributed her expertise as the Senior Director at Inova Children's Hospital within the Inova Health System and as the Director of Nursing Outcomes Improvement/Magnet Program Coordinator at the same institution. Her experience encompasses roles such as Clinical Faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Clinical Faculty in the Senior Division at East Carolina University College of Nursing, Clinical Manager at Rex Healthcare, and Staff Nurse at various healthcare institutions specializing in pediatric intensive care units.
