Elizabeth Merritt is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a Certificate in Future Studies from the University of Houston, a Master's in Biology from Duke University, a Bachelor's in Ecology and Evolution from Yale University, and has completed studies at the Museum Management Institute.
Elizabeth has held key positions in various prestigious organizations. She is the Founding Director of the Center for the Future of Museums at the American Association of Museums. In the past, she served as the VP Strategic Foresight and Founding Director of the Center for the Future of Museums at the same organization. Furthermore, she was a Co-Chair at the Yale Fencing Association, Director of Museum Advancement & Excellence at the American Association of Museums, Director of Collections and Research at the Cincinnati Museum Center, and a volunteer at the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections.
