Elizabeth McCright

Elizabeth ("Betsy") McCright is the Executive Director of the Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA), a position she has held for over 16 years. With more than 30 years of experience in the subsidized housing industry, McCright has a robust background in housing management. Prior to her role at CHA, she served as the Deputy Director of the Worcester, Massachusetts Housing Authority and as Executive Director of the Springfield, Massachusetts Housing Authority.12

In her current role, McCright oversees various housing initiatives and programs aimed at improving affordable housing options in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her leadership has been instrumental in implementing strategies that address community needs and enhance living conditions for residents.13
