Elizabeth Marquardt
Managing Director, New Partnerships at Feeding America
Elizabeth Marquardt is a strategic thinker with a bias for action and an advocate for childhood studies and ethics. With a history major and a minor in women's studies from Wake Forest University, Marquardt pursued a Master of Divinity with a focus on childhood studies, ethics, and counseling and an M.A. in International Relations, focusing on health policy at the University of Chicago. She has worked at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago as a Managing Editor for the Project on Ethical Issues in Home Health Care and as a Staff Researcher for the Early Detection Subcommittee/Advisory Committee on Cancer Coordination and Control at the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health, and Natural Resources. She has also served as Project Coordinator for the International Health Program at the University of Washington School of Public Health.
Marquardt has many years of experience in managing and leading teams. Currently, as Managing Director of an eight-person new business team at Feeding America, Marquardt oversees a team of five regional fundraisers covering the nation. She values excellence, speed, kindness, and resourcefulness, and as such, she is a managing director who serves and cheers her team on to achieve excellence every day.
Before her current position as Managing Director, Marquardt held various roles at Feeding America, including Director of New Partnerships, Central Region, and Senior Manager of Foundation Relations. Prior to that, she was Director of Foundation Relations at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and Director at IAV/Center for Marriage and Families.
