Elizabeth MacKinnon

Elizabeth MacKinnon, Esq. is a Law & Motion Attorney at Bonnie R. Moss & Associates where she prepares and argues various motions while independently managing and litigating cases. Prior to this role, she gained experience in insurance defense, construction defect litigation, real estate law, eminent domain, general civil litigation, and corporate law.

Elizabeth graduated early from California Western School of Law in December 2015 and passed the California Bar Exam on her first attempt. She received an Award of Distinction for her leadership at the law school. During her studies, she also obtained a certification in European Legal Studies while focusing on International Law in Paris, France.

Before her legal career, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in French from San Diego State University. Her research on mental illness stigma and racial stereotypes was recognized with awards for excellence. She is fluent in Spanish and English, with conversational proficiency in French.

Elizabeth MacKinnon has a diverse background working with various organizations including Bonnie R. Moss & Associates, Farmer Case & Fedor, ANDREW RAUCH, APC, and as a Legislative Intern at Senator Joel Anderson's office. She has also interned at the San Diego Superior Court, Chula Vista City Attorney's office, and the California Innocence Project. Her roles have ranged from legal clerk to Chief Financial Officer at the Moot Court Honors Board.
