Liz Juhnke

Elizabeth Juhnke, known as Liz Juhnke, is a UX Principal at The Home Depot, a position she has held since November 2021. With a strong background in user experience design, she is recognized as a thought leader in the fields of human-computer interaction, design thinking, and data-driven design. Her work focuses on leveraging big data to enhance business decisions and improve customer interactions through effective design strategies.

Before joining The Home Depot, Juhnke had an extensive career at Boeing, where she served in various roles including Staff User Experience Designer and Design Practice Lead for IT Product Systems. During her tenure at Boeing, she was instrumental in managing user experience design for significant enterprise tools and led initiatives that resulted in substantial cost savings for the company. She was honored with the designation of Boeing Associate Technical Fellow in 2020, reflecting her expertise and contributions to the field.

Juhnke holds a Master's degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. Her skills encompass product UX strategy, user research, and interaction design, among others. Additionally, she is involved in mentoring and advising within the UX community, contributing to the development of future design professionals.1
