    Elizabeth Grady is a curator, educator, and organizational design consultant with over 20 years of experience in socially engaged art (SEA) and management consulting. With a Ph.D. in Art History from Northwestern University, Grady has worked for prestigious institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, SFMoMA, and Whitney Museum. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the arts and approaches all her work from a social justice perspective.

    At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Elizabeth Grady is currently the Civic Practice Project Manager and participates actively in several internal committees focused on dismantling institutional white supremacy while overseeing and curating the Civic Practice Partnership. She also co-anchored a professional learning community of 21 arts organizations exploring the impact of the arts in and with communities. Additionally, she's advised The Rockefeller Foundation on the role of the arts in building civil society and Nike on developing core values, among others.

    Aside from her work, Grady has also written over 30 books and journal articles, curated more than 20 exhibitions, and led over 50 workshops, panels, and lectures. Her expertise lies in socially engaged art, curatorship, management consulting, program management, teaching, research, and public speaking.
