Elizabeth A. Dunn, MPH, CPH, is an Instructor I at the University of South Florida (USF) College of Public Health. Her teaching activities focus on disaster management, international humanitarian relief, and homeland security.123 She emphasizes preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery in her courses and is involved in research that examines disaster management systems, particularly for vulnerable populations.14

Elizabeth Dunn earned both her BA and MPH from USF and has been part of the College of Public Health since 2012.6 She was honored with the 2020 COPH Excellence in Teaching Award.6 Additionally, she has been recognized for her work in areas such as sheltering, evacuation, burnout, and food supply chain resilience research.5
