Elissavet Karamichail

Elissavet Karamichail is a professional with a strong passion for contributing to more peaceful and equitable societies through inclusive educational opportunities.

She completed her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education with a focus on Globalisation and International Development, earning First Class honors from the University of Cambridge. Elissavet also holds a Bachelor's Degree in World Politics, graduating Magna Cum Laude (3.83) from Leiden University College The Hague. Additionally, she completed a Semester Abroad in Education at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba during her undergraduate studies and pursued an International Baccalaureate at United World College Mostar during high school.

Elissavet's professional journey includes significant roles such as Education Coordinator and Greece Programme Coordinator at Amala, where she has demonstrated her leadership and organizational skills. She has also held positions like Education Assistant, Greece Lead Coordinator, and Steering Group Member at Amala. Elissavet has valuable experience as a Peace Education Facilitator and Intern at the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) and as an Amala Facilitator- Athens Hub. Moreover, she has contributed as an Associate Researcher at Fanack B.V. and served as an Invigilator at the British Council.
