Elise Ogle

Elise Ogle is a former Stanford University field hockey player and current coach who has dedicated her career to youth development and mental health. She played field hockey at Stanford from 2011 to 2014, where she was a four-year letterwinner and two-time team captain.2 During her time at Stanford, Ogle faced personal challenges, including the loss of a close friend, but found support and resilience through her field hockey team.1

After graduating, Ogle pursued a master's degree at Stanford and worked in the Virtual Human Interaction Lab, studying the effects of virtual experiences on empathy.3 She later joined Limbix, a company focused on digital therapeutics for mental health, where she became the Head of Content, developing programs to help teenagers manage depression.3

Currently, Ogle coaches field hockey for teenagers and college club teams, including her role as Girl's High Performance Program Director and Coach at Norcal Sharks Field Hockey Club.3 She sees her coaching work as an extension of her mission to support youth mental health and development, describing it as "two sides of the same coin: motivating teenagers to work hard, develop skills, and experience a sense of mastery".3

Ogle's personal experiences with mental health challenges during college have informed her professional path, driving her to create resources and support systems she wishes had been available when she was younger.3 Her work combines her background in psychology, communication, and athletics to positively impact young people's lives through both technology and sports coaching.
