Elisabeth Fahrni Mansur is a dedicated professional with a background in education, conservation, photography, and tourism.
With a master's degree in education and experience as a primary school teacher and principal in Switzerland, Elisabeth transitioned to Bangladesh in 2002.
In Bangladesh, she has contributed significantly to conservation efforts, working on media projects, documentary production, and educational exhibits.
Elisabeth's expertise extends to nature guiding, professional wildlife photography, and coauthoring field guides about the Sundarbans mangrove forest and the honey-collectors of Sundarbans.
As the former CEO of The Guide Tours Ltd., a notable local tour operator, she gained valuable experience in management strategies.
Selected as a Kinship Conservation Fellow in 2008, Elisabeth underwent training in market-based conservation tools and leadership.
She currently serves as the Director of Education & Training at the Bangladesh Cetacean Diversity Project, where she coordinates programs, workshops, and internships.
