Elisa Spencer-Kaplan

Elisa Spencer-Kaplan is the Managing Director at Theater Latté Da, a prominent musical theater company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She holds an MFA in Theater Management from the Yale School of Drama and is an honors graduate from Carleton College with a B.A. in English.12

Before her current role, she served as the Executive Director of The Acting Company in New York City for five years, where she focused on national tours, Off-Broadway productions, and educational programs for economically disadvantaged students.13 Her experience also includes administrative and financial roles at various theaters such as Second Stage Theatre and the Guthrie Theatre, among others.15

Elisa was appointed Managing Director at Theater Latté Da in December 2021, where she co-leads the organization alongside its founding artistic director.34 Her contributions to theater education and management have established her as a notable figure in the industry.
