Elisa Doucette is a professional writer and editor with nearly two decades of experience in the writing industry. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Forbes, and The Huffington Post, among others. Elisa has also published her short stories in several literary magazines. Her articles cover a variety of topics, including writing and editing, creativity and craft, and entrepreneurship. Elisa is a regular guest on radio shows and podcasts, including Frommer’s Radio, Entrepreneurs ON FIRE, and The Chris Hahn Show.

Elisa earned her degree in English and Classical Studies with a concentration in Latin from the University of Maine. She is the founding editor of Craft Your Content, a collective of freelance editors and coaches. As the editor, she helps individuals, entrepreneurs, online businesses, and major corporations to create their most compelling content while protecting each writer’s unique voice and vision. Elisa's mission is to serve as a creative partner to her clients.

Elisa Doucette's experience includes managing editor positions at Tropical MBA and Simple Programmer, editorial advisor at Compound Writing, and podcast host at Writers' Rough Drafts podcast. She has also worked as an online columnist for MaineToday Media and Forbes and as a bar guide reviewer for The Portland Press Herald. Elisa has presented at various events such as WordCamp, BlogHer, and the Vanguard Conference.
