Eli Hershko

Eli Hershko is an award-winning senior creative video producer, director, cinematographer, and editor with over 9 years of experience in the field.2 Originally from Israel, Hershko graduated from Haifa School of the Arts and served in the army as a photographer and photography teacher before studying at WIZO Art College and the New York Film Academy Digital Film Program.1

Photography Career

He worked as a professional photographer, shooting album and magazine covers for popular artists including Biggie Smalls, Bjork, Public Enemy, OPP, Space Hog, The Backstreet Boys, Cake, Garbage, and Tony Bennett.1

Filmmaking Career

Hershko has directed and produced several feature films:

1. "Carl[a]" (2011): His first feature film, starring Emmy-nominated actor Mark Margolis and Lavern Cox.1
2. "The Closer" (2015): Won over 14 awards in 2015/16.1
3. "Fairytale" (2018): His third feature film, shot over eight days in New York City and Long Island without a script, using anamorphic lenses he built himself.1
