Eleonore Derome

Meet Eleonore Derome, a seasoned corporate and securities law lawyer with a wealth of experience advising clients on various corporate and commercial law matters. Based in Québec, Canada, Eleonore has a focus on negotiation of commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities law, capital markets and corporate governance. She has been actively involved in the execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions, equity and debt financings, and reorganizations for public and private companies, financial institutions, institutional investors, and Crown corporations.

Eleonore completed her LLB at the Université de Montréal before earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in International Business and Economics at HEC Montréal. She also recently completed a negotiation program at Harvard Law School.

Eleonore is deeply involved in Canada's arts community and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art, chairing the governance and human resources committee. She is a founding member of Young Canadians in Finance - Women’s Initiative and has been recognized for her leadership achievements, including being selected as a participant for the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference and awarded the Prix Relève d'Excellence by HEC Montréal for first place in the consulting services category.

Before joining Bombardier as a Senior Lawyer, Business Aircraft, Eleonore has worked with reputable legal firms such as Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, and McCarthy Tétrault LLP. She was co-founder & president, Women Initiative Division_Executive committee member, Mtl Chapter_Counsel at Young Canadians in Finance and served as a board member of the Global Organization at Young Canadians in Finance. Ms. Derome also served as a Member of the executive committee of the Canadian Bar Association's Canadian Corporate Counsel.
