Elena Riva, in partnership with her husband Antonio Civita, established the Panino Giusto trademark in 2005, ultimately acquiring the company in 2010, leading to an extensive development project.
Panino Giusto's mission is to offer an exceptional product, the Panino Italiano, focusing on quality within the realm of gastronomy, professional training, design, and hospitality.
Under their ownership, Panino Giusto has expanded to operate 27 restaurants across Italy, England, Japan, China (Hong Kong), and the USA, including a location in Silicon Valley.
In 2015, Elena Riva and Antonio Civita founded the Fondation ACCADEMIA DEL PANINO ITALIANO to promote and elevate the Italian Panino globally as an iconic 'Made in Italy' product through various initiatives like creating protocols, certifications, and guides.
Elena Riva holds a background in studies from Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' and has been actively involved in various organizations, including 101ER at La Carica delle 101, Collegio dei Provibiri at SOS-LOGistica, and Accademia del Panino Italiano, where she served as a board member and president.
