Elena Mustatea

Elena Mustatea is the Co-founder and CEO of Bold Health, a virtual care and digital therapeutics company focused on improving individuals' digestive health with holistic gut care.1 Bold Health combines the telehealth services of a multidisciplinary GI-focused care team with digital therapeutic programs for self-management.3

Mustatea was previously a venture capital investor at Atomico, a leading European VC fund.13 She covered digital health and software as a service, among other verticals.3 She has also worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs, and in management consulting at Oliver Wyman.13

Elena Mustatea is a Romanian native and received her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA.13 She holds a Master's degree in Science from the Stockholm School of Economics. She was also selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.2

In addition to her work with Bold Health, Mustatea is the co-founder of TechTogether UK, an advocacy group representing the UK tech industry.12 She is also a supporter of charity: water, Shelter, and TechBikers/Room to Read.2
