Elena Kohn

Elena Kohn, Esq., is an experienced in-house legal counsel who specializes in the intersection of business law and health/corporate/employment laws.

Currently serving as the Associate Regional Chief Legal Officer at AdventHealth, Elena provides legal guidance on healthcare issues, physician contracts, practice acquisitions, and corporate matters in the West Florida Division.

With a background that includes roles as General Counsel at Women's Care Florida, Alliance Physical Therapy Partners, Dynamic Dental Partners Group, and DaVita Medical Group, Elena has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry.

Before transitioning in-house, Elena worked as an associate attorney at Shumaker, advising on regulatory issues, entity formation, and healthcare-related mergers and acquisitions for physicians and hospitals.

Elena is a distinguished alumna of University College London and Stetson University College of Law, where she received the Walter Mann award for showing exceptional promise in the legal profession.

Outside of her legal career, Elena is an enthusiastic Peloton rider, a dedicated advocate for cancer research, and an active participant in fundraising activities for organizations like Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Moffitt Cancer Center.

Elena's passion for debate extends to engaging with her children, sharpening her skills with her daughter and facing challenges from her teenage son.
