The largest operator of corporate accelerators in the UK, L Marks is an investment and advisory firm that specialises in applied corporate innovation.

Role responsibilities include: 

 - Leading the launch and delivery of RElab to ensure startups meet objectives set with the client
 - Developing long-term relationships with client stakeholders and the client market and their internal teams to support the timely and successful delivery of the programme
 - Assisting with scouting potential teams for the programme 
 - Building and leveraging contacts in relevant industries to plan a successful programme of startup support
 - Ensuring that high standards of quality are upheld
 - Monitoring progress of startups and routinely assessing for risks
 - Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing of each assigned programme 
 - Engaging with existing and new non-commercial partners to build relationships and increase support offering to startups
 - Working with the L Marks Head of Brand and Head of Scouting to ensure community activities get exposure in the Lab

I was part of the programme team which oversaw the second edition of BMW Innovation Lab 2017/18

Associate responsibilities included:
- Developing a strong understanding of corporate client needs, challenges and industry trends
- Developing a good relationship with every startup from the cohort, understanding their individual challenges and overseeing their progress through to Demo Day
- Providing support in the preparation of programme strategies and planning
- Providing support for general administrative duties, budget management, operations and the overall execution of the programme in order to deliver a successful programme
- Running and hosting programme events


Programme Associate

I was responsible for finding and attracting the best tech startups for the programmes L Marks runs in association with its corporate partners. I led scouting for JLAB 2017, Bupa Blue Table, Travis Perkins BreakThru and BMW Innovation Lab.

-  Researched potential promotion and market opportunities such as finding better ways to reach target consumers (this involved contacting and researching bloggers, journalists, etc. and compiling databases 

-  I was present at brainstorming meetings and learned a lot about how to plan and implement successful PR strategies
