Eleanor Glockner

Eleanor Glockner is a highly educated individual with a background in bioengineering from Stanford University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree. She also honed her skills in the Chinese language at Beijing Language and Culture University. Prior to her university education, Eleanor attended Northside College Preparatory High School.

Throughout her career, Eleanor has held various roles in prestigious organizations. She currently serves as a device engineer at OpticLine. Previously, she worked as a product engineer at Foldscope Instruments, Inc. Additionally, she has been actively involved in the scientific community as a team organizer and member at the iGEM Competition.

Eleanor Glockner's professional journey includes diverse experiences. She interned at Stanford Seed while studying at Stanford University and gained valuable research experience as an ant research assistant at the university. Furthermore, Eleanor has contributed to marine biology research as a research assistant at the Shedd Aquarium. Her leadership skills are evident from her role as the co-president of BIOME, an organization focusing on biological interdisciplinary projects.

In addition to her roles in engineering and research, Eleanor has dedicated time to teaching and mentorship. She has served as an instructor at various institutions and shared her expertise as a teen advisor at the Shedd Aquarium.
