Elan Fields is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gideon Software, Inc., a legal tech startup he founded in February 2017 at the age of 21.1 Gideon is an intelligent messaging and intake analytics platform designed to improve the attorney-client relationship and help law firms communicate with potential clients online.1

Fields' background includes:

Gideon Software aims to solve access to justice issues by leveraging technology to improve legal service delivery models, particularly for lower and middle-income individuals.1 The platform uses a chatbot to capture and qualify leads, answer initial inquiries, and book meetings for law firms.1

His passion for improving access to justice was inspired by his experiences visiting his father, a trial court judge, and witnessing the consequences of litigants going to trial without legal representation.1

As of 2017, Gideon was preparing to release its beta version and was in the process of raising a seed round of funding.1 Fields' long-term goal is to build the future of consumer-centric legal services with Gideon while also pursuing projects to help underserved populations.1
