Ekaterina Uryupova is an international educator and public speaker with vast experience in the polar regions for over a decade.
She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in International Journalism with Distinction from The University of Salford, a Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Sciences from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Sciences also from MSU.
Ekaterina has been affiliated with prestigious organizations such as The Arctic Institute as a Visiting Fellow, the Smithsonian Institution as a Visiting Researcher, and Hurtigruten as a Researcher.
Her extensive work history includes positions like Intern at the Secretariat of the Antarctic Treaty, Rapporteur at The 39th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting, Content Contributor at Arctic.ru, and more.
Ekaterina's research interests cover a wide range of topics including the climate impact on ecosystems and interdisciplinary research efforts in polar policy.
