EJ Lawless

EJ Lawless is currently the Director of Corporate Investments at Indeed.com, a position he has held since August 2022. In this role, he focuses on investing in innovations related to the future of work, aiming to enhance job opportunities for individuals. Prior to this, he served in various senior roles at Indeed.com, including Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing and Senior Director of Online Acquisition and Partnerships, among others, accumulating over nine years of experience with the company since he first joined in 2010.1

In addition to his work at Indeed, Lawless is involved in venture capital as a Venture Partner at Hustle Fund and leads an angel investing syndicate for current and former Indeed employees. He has also co-founded Experiment Engine, where he served as Vice President of Growth.1

Lawless holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. His extensive background in online marketing and corporate investments positions him as a knowledgeable figure in the tech and HR sectors.1
