Ehab Zaghloul, Chief Research Scientist at Tribal Credit

Ehab Zaghloul is the Chief Research Scientist at Tribal Credit, a fintech company that provides payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in emerging markets. In his role, he leads the research, design, and implementation of Tribal Credit's blockchain ecosystem and TRBL token.12

Zaghloul has an extensive background in blockchain technology and cryptography. He earned his PhD in Applied Cryptography and Cyber Security from Michigan State University, where his research focused on designing and implementing distributed data sharing and electronic voting algorithms using blockchain-based systems.1 His work has been published in several top-tier, peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.1

Prior to joining Tribal Credit, Zaghloul co-founded the blockchain investment firm zk Capital, where he led technical due-diligence and mentored startups using the technology.1 He also holds MS and BS degrees in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning from The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport.1
