Alexios Papatzimos is a highly skilled and experienced Lead Renewables Consultant at Xodus Group, with an expertise in internal & external consulting, renewable energy R&D and innovation. With 5 years of experience in 5 different countries, he has a proven track record of managing and working with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Alex is also a Chartered Engineer holding degrees in Doctor of Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (International) with first-class honours. He has worked on projects related to data-driven tools and methodologies for operations and maintenance of offshore wind farms of the EDF Group in the UK.

As a former R&D Engineer- Offshore Wind at EDF, he played a crucial role in leading partnerships in offshore wind digital technologies and innovations. He also worked as a Financial Research Analyst at Clean Energy Pipeline and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology (Cryo Lab). His passion for sustainability studies and creating a sustainable future for the next generations have pushed him to work in the renewables industry.
