Sanjay Wagle is a seasoned venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and advocate of sustainable energy policies with over 15 years of experience in the field. With a focus on resource productivity and clean energy, he has worked with CEOs and senior management teams, developing and implementing strategies for new business initiatives. Sanjay has extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, and project finance across the energy, transportation, water, and infrastructure sectors.

Sanjay has worked tirelessly to commercialize technology in areas such as electric vehicles, smart grid, and batteries, among others. He studied at the prestigious Harvard University, where he earned an AB magna cum laude in Government and Economics. He also studied MBA at University of California, Berkeley's Walter A. Haas School of Business.

Sanjay has held leadership positions in different companies and organizations, including his current role as Managing Director at The Lightsmith Group. He was formerly a Board Director at Vote Solar, Senior Advisor for Corporate Development at public and private company clients, and Associate Director of Commercialization at the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E), among others.
