Emily Ernst, a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) graduate in acting from Southern Methodist University, has an illustrious background in arts management, production, and education. Emily has served as the Executive Assistant at Johnson Equipment Company, the Office Manager at The Arts Community Alliance (TACA), and the Director at Opera Slavica, among other roles. She has also worked as a Freelance Proof Reader/Copy Editor at Macmillan and taught at Manhattan Country School.
Before taking up management roles, Emily worked as an actor and assistant director at various theatre companies, including Hope Summer Repertory Theatre and The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. She was also an Associate to the Managing Director and an Assistant Director at Theatre for a New Audience. Besides her work in the arts, Emily was the Student Recruitment Coordinator at Southern Methodist University and a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Emily's versatile background is a testimony to her love for the arts and passion for education. Her experience in managing productions, coordinating events, training staff, and engaging with stakeholders has honed her leadership and communication skills, which serve her well in all her endeavors.
