Weijun Ding is a Data Scientist 2 at Uber, who has a strong educational background in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, and Economics. With a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Ding's research primarily focuses on revenue management and optimization. He has been part of a project with a big airline company in Asia, where he has collected data and estimated statistical models to predict customer behavior. The project also solved the problem of determining the optimal assortment in different sales channels, taking competition into consideration. Ding has also worked on a high-speed internet switching algorithm with the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology.
