Mahendra Ramsinghani is a seasoned venture capitalist and an accomplished author with an extensive background in early and growth-stage technology investments. He studied at the University of Michigan Business School, where he honed his skills in venture capital and technology investments. Mahendra also holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the Department of Technology at Savitribai Phule Pune University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the same institution.
Mahendra's professional career spans several high-profile roles in both venture capital firms and tech companies. He co-founded Biomatrix, a company focused on developing novel biological therapeutics, and served as its CEO. Mahendra has also held senior positions at Plymouth Venture Partners, a Michigan-based venture capital firm, and Michigan Economic Development, where he spearheaded the state's venture capital initiatives as Director. Additionally, Mahendra has worked as a Business Development Executive for Emtec Technology and as a Business Development Manager at Aluminum Company of America.
As an author, Mahendra has published two well-regarded books. The first, "The Business of Venture Capital," provides a comprehensive overview of the venture capital industry, while the second, "Startup Boards," co-authored with Brad Feld, is a practical guide to building and managing boards for early-stage technology companies.
