Caroline Tanbee Smith

Caroline Tanbee Smith, the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Collab, an accelerator for Connecticut entrepreneurs, is a powerhouse of excellence and accomplishments. She has an impressive educational background as she studied Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Psychology at Yale University, and also attended the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School. Caroline has a keen interest in advocacy and community empowerment. She founded New Haven Bike Month, an advocacy group that helps to build bicycle justice, and was elected the Chair of the Downtown-Wooster Square Community Management Team. She belongs to numerous organizations, including Could Be Fund, Liberty Community Services, Yale Alumni Fund, Arts Council of Greater New Haven, Elm City Cycling, and DataHaven, among others. Caroline's work has earned her numerous honors, such as the Women in Business Award by New Haven Biz, Connecticut Magazine's 40 Under 40, the Yale Alumni Fund Chairmen's Award, New Havener of the Year by New Haven Independent (Millennials), and many others.
