Alan Clarke

Alan Clarke, a professional Civil Engineer (PrEng), has a steadfast passion for infrastructure development, with a particular focus on projects in Africa. With years of experience, Alan has worked extensively in the construction, design, and project management of mega infrastructure projects. Beyond his technical skills, Alan holds an MBA from the prestigious Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, as a scholar of the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship and Leadership Programme, Saïd Foundation, and Chevening.

Alan mastered his engineering skills as he completed his MEng degree (cum laude) at Stellenbosch University. He has also dedicated his time as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Transnet National Ports Authority and worked as a Site Engineer responsible for Breakwater and Quay wall at AECOM. To expand his skillset, Alan indulges in outdoor adventures such as mountain biking, surfing, and canoeing.

In his current role as a Director at HALC.Africa, Alan provides his expertise in Civil Engineering and MBA education to the team to continuously develop sustainable infrastructure projects.
