Mariel Reed is a technology and government enthusiast who understands how to leverage both for the greater good. She is the CEO and co-founder of CoProcure, a startup helping public institutions simplify and speed up their purchasing processes. Thanks to her leadership, CoProcure has received venture backing and is now making waves in the public sector. Mariel is also a former senior innovation strategist for the Mayor's Office of Civic Innovation in San Francisco and has held various other leadership positions in organizations like EdTechWomen and Lean In Beijing. She holds a bachelor's degree in International Politics, Foreign Policy, and Asian Studies from Georgetown University and has studied user experience design at General Assembly. Mariel is a globally-minded professional who has also been a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community and previously worked as a regional manager for Coursera.
