Jim Bergeron, RN, BSN, MBA is a highly experienced health care consultant with over 25 years of experience in various hospital and nursing administration positions, including CEO/VP/COO and CNO roles in large and medium-sized hospitals, academic medical centers, and physician-owned hospitals. Jim has a diverse background in healthcare administration, including critical access hospitals, urgent care operations, rehab facilities, hospice, and physician practices, with a primary goal of increasing the overall performance of hospitals while maintaining a focus on financial outcomes, operational effectiveness, and clinical quality.

Jim's financial background includes skills in capital and debt management, financial statement preparation, budgeting, billing and collecting, contracting, risk management and litigation, productivity and benchmarking, span of control analysis, clinical and operational due diligence for Merger/Acquisition, partnership agreements, strategic planning, pro-forma analyses for new services, operationalizing new facilities, and large renovations. Jim also has expertise in Medicare enrollment application, billing, chargemaster design, and Financial Intermediary rules and regulations, as well as cost report planning.

Jim's operational and clinical background includes a wealth of experience in organizational design, clinical effectiveness, clinical informatics, process design/simplification, policy & procedures, CM/UR, licensure and accreditation, and corrective action planning for adverse regulatory findings and CMS decertification actions.

Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Administration from the University of the State of New York, and an MBA from Saint Leo University. He has also studied Emergency Medical Technology at Santa Fe College.
