Amanda Coolidge
Amanda Coolidge is an expert in Open Education initiatives, currently serving as the Director of Open Education at BCcampus. With a Master's degree in Educational Technology from the University of Calgary, Coolidge has spent years working in education and technology, both in Canada and abroad. Notably, she was the Senior Educational Technologist for the TESSA project, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Coolidge's work at BCcampus involves advocating for Open practices, collaborative leadership, and respectful ways of working with Indigenous communities. Prior to this role, she worked as the Associate Director and Senior Manager of Open Education at BCcampus, Instructional Designer at Royal Roads University, Educational Technologist at Open University UK, and even co-founded Nairobi Now, Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Online Magazine.
