Tommy Nagra is a versatile and experienced professional with a wide-ranging background in the BBC and the Independent Sector as a programme maker and creative/business leader.

With extensive experience in developing new talent both on and off screen, Tommy has a proven track record in winning business, leading teams, managing logistics, setting up initiatives, and implementing partnerships.

He is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in delivering short and long-term strategies for genre teams and industry bodies.

Tommy Nagra is known for his excellent contacts and reputation for building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and internal and external stakeholders.

He has served on the boards of various organizations and steering groups, including Regional Screen Agencies, DQF, Charter Review, Diversity Acton Group, and more, showcasing his strategic expertise.

As a judge on National & Regional RTS juries and a participant in industry events, Tommy has a diverse background and has been recognized for his achievements in mentoring BME talent.

Having graduated as a Clore Fellow in 2017, Tommy is currently serving as a Project Director with the Director of Radio & Education at the BBC, leading a change programme spanning Radio, BBC Arts, Learning & Children's.
