Courtney Heldreth, PhD
Courtney Heldreth, PhD is a skilled mixed-methods researcher with expertise in statistics and social psychology. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Heldreth brings her passion for using research to understand underserved communities and growing meaningful connections through technology to her current role as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Google. She also leads efforts to increase diversity and inclusion in tech, reflecting her deep commitment to helping underserved communities access technology. Prior to joining Google, she held positions at Facebook and Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc, among others, where she amassed extensive experience in research operations and user experience research. She has also held research positions at UCLA and UC Berkeley, where she gained further expertise in social interaction and social stigma, stress processes and pregnancy, and community child health research.
