Russ Reneau is an accomplished communications professional with over two decades of experience in the field. He has worked with several well-known athletic organizations throughout his career and is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations & Broadcasting at Houston Baptist University.

Reneau has also taught courses on sports media and ethics at the HBU Kinesiology Department. He has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Corporate Communication from Baylor University and a Master's degree in Leadership/Sports Leadership from Duquesne University.

In his current role, Reneau oversees the media coverage of HBU's 17 NCAA Division I athletic programs, manages in-house ESPN+ productions, and provides play-by-play commentary for baseball and volleyball. He has a diverse skill set that includes writing, editing, page layout, graphic design, media liaison, web content management, and broadcasting.

Some of the organizations Reneau has worked with include Houston Baptist University, Baylor University, Jacksonville University, Rice University, and Waco Tribune-Herald.
