Yasyf is an accomplished computer scientist with a proven track record of success in the startup world. He is the Co-Founder & CEO of Sym, a platform that eliminates the security-velocity tradeoff by simplifying the security workflow process for engineers. Yasyf's expertise also extends to healthcare startups, having co-founded Karuna Health and holding positions as CTO and Chief Technology Advisor.

Before founding Sym and Karuna, Yasyf studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Science. During his time there, he worked with First Round Capital to build a one-stop shop for first-time founders and supported student founders around MIT and Boston through his work with Dorm Room Fund.

Yasyf's experience also includes working in engineering roles at Facebook, Square, and Foxtrot Systems. In his spare time, he has worked on projects like Hi From The Other Side, which seeks to bridge the divide between people from different political beliefs.
