Anna Pertl is an accomplished biochemistry professional with a strong passion for making a positive impact in the world. She has studied frontiers of science and technology at Yale Young Global Scholars, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry and Political Science from Yale University, graduating as valedictorian from Munich International School e.V with an International Baccalaureate. Anna is also an MIT Launch alum.
Anna is a pragmatic innovator who has founded and led several impactful organizations, including One Woman One Garden, which aims to empower Burkinabe women to grow their own vegetable gardens, and Pulse Wearables, which she co-founded. She has also served as Business Development & Project Management at Smartpatient and Consulting Intern at Stern Stewart & Co., where she played a vital role in delivering exceptional results.
Anna's skills as a professional are reinforced by her unique and diverse experiences as a global teen leader at We Are Family Foundation, a summer intern at QIAGEN, and a dedicated athlete who values physical health and fitness.
