Carsten Riggelsen is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of academic, managerial, and hands-on experience in the field of AI, machine learning, data mining, and data/solution architecture. With a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Machine Learning and AI, he has worked across different industries and organizations, building expertise in theoretical, strategic as well as applied aspects of data-centric technologies.

During his extensive career, Carsten has held various leadership positions, including VP Data & Analytics, EMEA at AllCloud, Lead/Manager, Data Strategy & Operations at Deutsche Bahn, Sr. Manager Data & Analytics at Deloitte Consulting, and Head of Research at MeteoGroup. He has also worked as Principal, Data Science EMEA at Pivotal Software, Inc. and Principal Investigator/Researcher - BMBF Grant at the University of Potsdam. He has also made substantial contributions to various research projects, including Principal ML Researcher at Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization - CTBTO, Principal Investigator/Researcher - DFG Grant at the University of Potsdam, and Research Fellow, Machine Learning at the University of Potsdam.
