Lia Emanuel is an experienced researcher and consultant in the field of human-computer interaction, user-centered design, and user experience. With a background in psychology and social cognition, Lia is passionate about designing digital solutions that prioritize the needs and behavior of end-users. She has collaborated with academic, industry, and government partners and specializes in user research, concept mapping, development, information architecture, and design evaluation/testing. Prior to her current position as Principal UX Consultant at Nomensa, Lia served as a Senior UX Consultant at the same firm, and as a Research Associate at the University of Bath. Lia holds a PhD in Psychology from The University of Reading and a BA in Psychology (cum laude) from North Carolina State University.
